Genuine fair trade tobacco does not exist and this project does not promote fair trade cigarettes. Tobacco farming is associated with health, environmental and human rights violations, as well as tobacco industry malfeasance. This is a project to encourage country representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) to request the WHO to use the theme "Human Rights and Tobacco Agriculture" for World No Tobacco Day 31 May 2021.
